Preety Shah, N.D. has received a Doctorate in Naturopathic medicine which she completed after four intense years of Medical training at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM), in Tempe, Arizona. After which she completed her preceptor-ship training with Dr. Ann Manby, N.D.
While in school she was involved with three research studies: - Literature Review and clinical trial on the effects on blood sugar using naturopathic protocol; - Clinical trial testing the rate of absorption of supplemental glutathione; - Publishing case studies on Diabetic patients treated by Dr. Mona Morstein.
During her clinical training she did additional rotations in homeopathy, acupuncture and nutrition. Her passion lies in classical homeopathy, although she will use one or several modalities that best fits the needs of her patient.
She received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology at Arizona State University.
Dr. Shah specializes in family medicine with an emphasis on women’s health and in diabetes education. She uses modalities such as clinical nutrition, botanicals, hydrotherapy and homeopathy to treat the cause of the disease process. |
